Muir Collective brings together decades of experience across business building, technology, energy, infrastructure, international markets and investment.
We created Muir around a simple belief: promising ideas and opportunities don't always come with a clear commercial path. Sometimes what's missing is the right market, the right partners or the right structure. Sometimes it's simply about connecting the pieces.
That's where we work.

Muir brings together experience from different sides of the commercial equation — industry and technology; markets and business building. We look for opportunities where those perspectives can come together to create something more valuable.
Industry, Technology & Strategic Development
Sean brings more than three decades of experience across business development, technology, energy, infrastructure, environmental systems and real estate.
His career has focused on complex opportunities where technology, industry and commercial application intersect — from rare-earth technologies, renewable energy and smart-grid systems to water, mining, infrastructure and real estate investment.
Working across the United States and China, Sean has built his career around evaluating opportunities, bringing together technical and commercial stakeholders, and helping move complex projects forward.
At Muir, Sean focuses on identifying and developing opportunities across industrial technology, energy and resources, and real assets.

Commercialization, Markets & Business Building
Karen brings more than two decades of experience building businesses, developing markets and creating commercial opportunities across Greater China, Asia Pacific and international markets.
Her career has taken her across business leadership, growth, media, technology and market expansion — working with global organizations building in Asia and Asian businesses expanding internationally.
Karen's strength is seeing the commercial opportunity others may overlook: where an idea can create value, how it should be positioned, who needs to be involved and how to build a practical path to market.
At Muir, Karen focuses on commercialization, market development, partnerships and business building.

Sean often approaches an opportunity from the technology, industry or asset side.
Karen often approaches it from the market, customer and commercial side.
Muir brings those perspectives together — evaluating what an opportunity could become, what might be missing, who needs to be involved and what it will take to move forward.
We don't believe every opportunity needs the same model.
Our role follows the opportunity.
